About the Mut Hut Pet Emporium
Mut Hut Pet Emporium Inc. was founded in 2006 by Charlene and Rod Cherniwchan. Their mission was to provide the Canmore and surrounding area with something that was missing: An upscale dog supply centre offering the most exclusive pet toys, fresh baked treats, hiking/camping gear, pet apparel, highest quality dog food and boutique items for pet owners and their pets. This delivered with extraordinary customer service offers a brilliant combination of dog “know-how” and fabulous taste. The store is becoming established with an impeccable and exciting reputation that is second to none.
Howard and Ruby are the store “greeters”, both terrier’s, they run the store in more ways than one. Howard is the Product Manager as all toys are personally tested to ensure quality and taste before they are purchased for the store. Ruby loves people and therefore holds the title of Customer Relations Manager. She licks all visiting customers whether they like it or not. Both Howard and Ruby work with special needs groups and enjoy weekly outings with local community members. You will always get smooches from the pooches!
Charlene and Rod give back to the world of dogs by supporting the local SPCA and other charities in the Bow Valley. With the success of Mut Hut and at the request of many out of town shoppers, it was decided to share with the world a combination of exclusive product selection, a welcomed atmosphere that has set them a part in a highly competitive and expanding pet market.
In the fall of 2008, the E-Commerce (e-tailing!!!) website muthut.com was launched, providing everything from their best selling, classic products from their Canmore store, to the hottest, must haves of the season. They continue to carry on Mut Huts’ traditions, distinctive merchandising and trendsetting product selection for dogs and their owners.
